Friday was the last day of diving. You need to allow a day for your body to get rid of the excess nitrogen you absorb, so we had to be out of the water by three. Last evening, at sunset, I took a drive up to Seru Largu, a mountain overlook in the center of the island. There’s a big monument up there, and from there, you can look out over the whole island.
The view was breathtaking, and it was so quiet and peaceful up there. To the south southwest, I could see a rain shower pouring over Kralendjik and Klein Bonaire, while to the west, I could see the sun setting. Continue reading
