Barbara really wanted to get back down to the Salt Pier area for sunset. While officiating at the wedding, she’d noticed the textures the setting sun created on the mounds of salt, so I offered to take her back down there.
The sun was pretty short lived. We’d just gotten pictures of the northern side of the salt mounds when the sun dropped behind a set of clouds, so we decided to head south and take some pictures by the slave huts.
The light was dropping, but we decided to check back by Salt Pier and see if the pier was lit; it was. Before the light dropped anymore, I got the picture of the lit pier at dusk.
